Right… where do I begin? First and foremost happy Sunday everyone, it has been a while since I last posted on here. I’m currently in a transitionary phase in my personal life and with that comes quiet a few changes and challenges, which I had to take some time out to focus on. As humans we should always strive to evolve, learn and ultimately grow. I’m back in the blogosphere and boy do I have content for all you gentlemen and fashionistas out there.
Seeing as it’s late summer, a lot of you gentlemen might be wondering how to put a casual yet classic ensemble together for the chilly weather. I recently drove to Chatsworth House, Bakewell, Derbyshire and I’m going to share how I put my outfit together for the trip. I’ll also be sharing some amazing pictures taken inside ‘House Style’. One of my hobbies is visiting parks to learn about history and heritage. Chatsworth house did not disappoint and I greatly recommend visiting (although it’s pretty pricey)
It’s important to understand your body type and skin tone and know what works for you and what doesn’t. Personally round neck slim fit t-shirts compliment my body type and I’m naturally draw to a neutral colour pallet as they compliment my skin tone. More so, wearing a neutral pallet has to do with my personality / archetype. Even though I love wearing statement pieces, I’m not one to be the centre of attention so my choice in colours are usually subdued.
It is also important to dress appropriately for the location you’re visiting taking into consideration the weather etc. I threw on a lightly padded faux suede jacket for added comfort and warmth; even though it was summer, the temperature was towards the cooler side.
At this point you might be wondering what the stylish or statement element of my ensemble was, well the burgundy 420 suede New Balance footwear and my cropped pleated pants added some style to my outfit.
I know many guys shy away from wearing colour, especially purples, pinks, greens and reds. It takes a confident individual to wear these items with style, so how do you become more comfortable wearing such items?
Anyway guys, let me know if you would swap out any piece from my ensemble. I’m definitely going to be visiting Chatsworth again as I didn’t get the time to visit the amazing garden located at the premises.
Catch you later…
